Acidity, bloating and constipation are among the most common reasons people visit our clinic. Along with treatment, these small habits make a big difference.
- Eat at fixed times. Your gut likes routine.
- Finish dinner 2–3 hours before bed. Lying down on a full stomach worsens acidity.
- Chew slowly. Digestion starts in the mouth.
- Drink water through the day – not large amounts with meals.
- Add fibre: fruits, salads, whole grains, dals.
- Limit fried and very spicy food, especially at night.
- Cut down tea and coffee on an empty stomach.
- Walk for 10–15 minutes after meals.
- Sleep 7–8 hours. Poor sleep upsets digestion.
- Manage stress – the gut and mind are closely linked.
